Golden Sunset 1 - Seascape - Oil on Canvas

Painted over a couple of months, evolving as I watched the sunsets and how the blue skies turn to copper and finally yellow.

This work evolved over time, as I tried to represent all the stages of the skies seen over the sea from my studio at East Beach Worthing.

A dark storm heads in from the east (from Brighton) as the sun sets. The horizon turns from copper to yellow as the coppery light reflects off the incoming storm clouds.

I have included a couple of of images below showing me starting the work outside, moving it inside, some detail and contemplating wether it was finished or not.
